Events and Classes at the Center
House Concert: Put it on your calendar, March 14 at 7-9 pm with the Mitguard trio. Their music is a hybrid of traditional folk, country and swing with many originals written by Chris Mitguard. Eric Schneider, songwriter and guitarist, will perform the opening set with his original music.
Day of Forgivingness: Saturday, March 20, 9am-6pm. Rev. Eric Schneider Teacher of Forgiveness , and author of How to Forgive Anyone & The Complete Book of Forgiveness. The Center for Inner Peace, (719-383-2354 in La Junta) Suggested donation: $50
Gratitude Group: A workshop/support group on living in gratitude led by Marie Montiel and Julie Nemick. Meets on the second and fourth Fridays at 1:00 pm at the Center. March 12th & 26th.. (Julie - 545-5416 , Marie - 544-7182).. Newcomers always welcome.
The Enneagram and Relationships: Applications to Daily Life: Facilitator - Ann Ladd
The first session held on November 17th was a review of the nine types. You can still join in the class. The following eight sessions will focus on one type each session and a final summary session (total 11). The sessions will be every other week on Tuesdays from 6:30-8:30 pm. NIA: Every Wednesday, 4 pm and Friday, 10:30 am. Nia in Swahili means “with purpose.” Holistic exercise movements provide a spirit of “dancing through life with a purpose.” (Donna 547-2241)
Yang Style Tai Chi:
Friday mornings, at 8:00 am Tai chi is an ancient wellness practice
and martial art and a style of Qigong (Chi Kung). The slow graceful movements of tai chi
promote better health and longevity through '"chi" circulation. Tai Chi beginner class to start in January. Call Debbie Ciaravino for more information (948-2798.)
Taizé: Now at the Center. The candlelight Taizé services be at the Center on the first Sunday of the month, March 7. Please let Ann Ladd know if you would like to participate as a musician or reader.
Service Opportunities The center for Inner Peace will be joining the Interfaith Hospitality Network here in Pueblo. We will be creating a team of volunteers that will support the local churches that take in homeless families. Become involved in volunteer service to these families: lead family activities, prepare meals, help children with homework, spend nights, weekend mornings or afternoons, weekday evenings, these are only some of the possibilities. The amount of time is up to you. Please consider making this a regular spiritual practice. Call the Center 543-2349 or the Interfaith Hospitality Network 583-4070 for more information.

Join Pueblo Light Connection on Sunday, March 14, when Temara Herl will present "Moving Forward on Your Life Path". Explore simple yet powerful techniques to help increase your awareness of what is holding you back and explore concrete steps to help you move forward.
